Huntly Hairst - Food Festival
A celebration of food and farming
After four very successful years, The Huntly Hairst will be repeated for 2012 with a similar format to last year. It will be on the first weekend in September with a food festival which celebrates local producers, food and farming. While no longer combined with the traditional Halloween festival, it still maintains a link and the Farmers Market will still be open as usual for that weekend.
The Festival commences on 1 September with a larger than usual Farmers market and continues at Huntly Mart on the 2 September. There will be some further related events through until the Halloween Festival. A number of competitions are being organised to run over this period.
